About SA Golf Institute
The Founders of SA Golf Institute are internationally recognised coaches with experience in teaching professional golfers and training coaches around the world. SA Golf Institute offers a 3 year NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN CLUB PROFESSIONAL GOLFING. Accredited by the PGA of SA. Our world class coaches will prepare you for a career in the professional ranks. Students receive specialised coaching during the week together with attending lectures on site. Once the student has completed the Diploma and the PGA criteria then he/she can apply for Full PGA Membership which is recognized in over 40 countries. This program is specifically for people that would like to make golf a career.

National Diploma (3 Years) – Prepare for a career in Golf

During the course of study amateurs retain their amateur status ensuring that they can compete on provincial and national level before electing to turn professional. For those who don’t make it as a tour playing professional, the subjects prepare and qualify students for a career in the golf industry, which may include, club management, event coordination, coaching, retail, golf tourism, consulting and tournament officiating. Once the student has completed the 3 year diploma they can then apply to become a member of the PGA of SA and the PGA membership is internationally recognised. PAT’s & TAT’s ability tests and Apprentice hours need to be completed before full membership is obtained.
